We currently sell 1/2 and whole animals. We will keep a list of people that are interested in a 1/4 animal in order to connect people in the same area so that they may purchase together. We also have family packs and various cuts for sale. Glacier Grown carries a limited inventory of select cuts and hamburger. Items are priced according to cut. Please call in advance for availability and pricing. There is a co-op discount available. The co-op price would apply if you can get others together who are interested and we sell at least 4 bison to your group.
Option 1 - You come to the ranch to shoot your own animal. We will weigh your bison and help you load it into your truck.
Option 2 – We will harvest your animal and transport it to our butcher. Customer handles all butchering arrangements themselves (including butchering instructions, butchering fees and meat pick up).
Option 3 Glacier Grown handles all butchering arrangements and fees. Both date of delivery and drop off location to be specified by Glacier Grown. Pricing is based on hanging weight. That is the weight of the animal the butcher receives to cut (no head, hide, hooves, blood or guts). Hanging weight can be anywhere from 250 lbs – 450 lbs depending on the size of the bison. There will be some additional weight loss for bone and fat, but the exact weight of meat going in your freezer depends on how you want it butchered.

Option 1 Price: $2.15/ lb on the hoof (live weight)
Option 2 Price: $2.15/ lb on the hoof (live weight) + $125 kill/haul fee.

Half animal = $5.09/lb hanging weight
Co-op price = $4.24/lb hanging weight (4 bison required)

Notes of Interest:
*** We require a deposit of $1000.00 for a whole bison and $500.00 for a half animal to schedule your kill date. Remainder due immediately after we contact you with the actual hanging weight. Glacier Grown accepts cash, check, and PayPal payments only. All payments due in full prior to delivery.

You may also elect to have your animal’s head mounted and hide tanned. Please contact us for more information on these services.
Are you a hunter? Glacier Grown will have a limited list of dates available for you to kill your animal in the field. You may also elect to have your animal’s head mounted and hide tanned.
